A lot of people tell me they don’t want to rely on AI.
And that’s very understandable.
There are plenty of reasons you’d be skeptical of all this “AI IS THE FUTURE!!” hype.
But the problem is that we’re getting to the point where using AI is inevitable.
Just like the people who refused to switch from ploughs to tractors or the companies that insisted on keeping everything on paper instead of using spreadsheets…
If you don’t adapt, you will fall behind.
Work expectations keep going up. And even though most roles don’t explicitly ask you to use AI, the pace and output they expect already assumes you’re not doing everything the “old” way anymore.
At this point, the conversation isn’t about whether using AI is “good” or “bad”.
It’s about how to use AI without losing your own skills and judgement in the process.
Because at the end of the day… No, you shouldn’t rely on AI.
However, you should use it to support your thinking, organize your ideas and move faster through boring, repetitive work.
And if you’re still someone who wants to avoid using AI, please let me know why!
I’m genuinely curious and perhaps I’ll learn something new.
