Hey friends,
When I first started posting on LinkedIn, I used to overthink everything.
“Do I know enough to talk about this?”
“What if someone more experienced disagrees?”
“Who am I to give advice?”
That voice constantly whispering “you’re not qualified enough” is something that I’m sure you already know about:
Imposter Syndrome.
And it’s the number one reason why most people will never post on LinkedIn.
Which means they’ll miss out on opportunities to get noticed by recruiters, connect with industry leaders and build a personal brand that opens doors long before they ever click “apply” on a job application.
And they’ll miss out on all of these amazing benefits because of a lie they’re telling themselves.
Because the reality is that credibility on LinkedIn isn’t built by being the expert…
It’s built by being a learner who’s willing to share what they’re discovering.
People follow creators who make them feel seen, who share stories, mistakes and lessons that mirror their own journey.
Especially now.
No one’s looking for another stream of dry, bulleted information.
If that’s all they wanted they’d just ask ChatGPT.
We crave human voices, honesty, experience and perspective.
And the irony is that once you start posting from that place of curiosity, growth and authenticity…
People begin to see you as the expert anyway.
So if you’ve been waiting until you “know enough” to start posting…
Stop waiting and start sharing.
And if you’re really serious about finally using your LinkedIn profile to its full advantage…
You can get my Mastering LinkedIn to not only learn how to maximize your posts for growth…
But also learn how to optimize every single other aspect of finding a fulfilling, well-paying, and enjoyable job through LinkedIn.
